Yesterday evening, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals denied the federal government’s motion for an emergency stay. Essentially, the Ninth Circuit refused to lift the block on President Trump’s immigration ban, therefore, allowing refugees and travel into the United States without regard to the individual’s nationality. It appears that the Trump Administration’s next move is to take this case to the Supreme Court. However, for the time being, if you have friends or family members abroad from one of the seven countries that were banned, they are free to make travel arrangements and present themselves at point of entry. If they seek any resistance, please contact us immediately.
