Frisco 2nd Fastest Growing City in US
Frisco is the second fastest-growing city in the US – growing 6.2 percent between July 1, 2015 and July 1, 2016. It’s unlikely that the growth will slow any time soon. Texas is still well on pace to double its population by 2050. Texas also has another thing that sets its metro areas apart from those in other states: open land.
The new businesses from E2 visa investors expand the North Texas economy; and provide new jobs and opportunities for Texas and US residents.
In the first half of 2017, popular Verdin E2 visa business categories were real estate, retail sales and retail marketing. See VERDIN E2 Visa Business Solutions June 2017.
E2 Visa Investment Capital Needed
In many cases of investor visas, a common issue is what amount of capital is needed for the investment in order to convince USCIS or the consulates that the E-2 visa investment is viable. For E-2 investor visas, there is no required amount of investment that will trigger an approval or a denial.
While no specific regulation exists, the underlying understanding is that USCIS and the consulates prefer that the investment be at least $100,000; which opens opportunities for many types of business.
Frisco $5 Billion Mile
Frisco $5 Billion Mile is a a one-mile stretch of road along the Dallas North Tollway from Warren Parkway north to Lebanon Road.
This area is one of the most dynamic development concentrations in America with more than $5 billion in capital investment, either announced or under construction. It includes 549 acres in development that will be home to 13.5M SF of commercial development, resulting in a projected 43,772 new jobs.
Collin County Business Boom
Business is booming in Collin County – and it’s having a direct impact on the entire area. Large corporations like Toyota, Liberty Mutual and State Farm are relocating to Frisco; bringing thousands of workers and families that need homes, retail services, child care services and more.
New business opportunities, as well as potential new talent, will be produced from “trailing spouses.” Many of the relocated employees are bringing with them other potential top talent who will be seeking jobs in the area.
