She has successfully handled hundreds of cases and has extensive experience in Removal Defense, Family-based Immigration, Citizenship and naturalization, Business and Investor visas, I-9 Compliance, Motion Practice before the Executive Office of Immigration Review and the Board of Immigration Appeals.

Mrs. Liset Lefebvre Martinez’s practice includes Removal Defense, Family Based Immigration, Citizenship and Naturalization, Business and Employment Immigration, I-9 Compliance, Motions to Reopen and Reconsider and Appeals before the EOIR and BIA.
Mrs. Lefebvre is a passionate litigator. She is honest and diligent. In her career, she has handled hundreds of cases, and reunited many families through true advocacy. She has 10 years of legal experience. Prior to joining Verdin Law Firm, she successfully opened up and managed an immigration law firm in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for four years for Chavez & Valko, LLP.
Education
Mrs. Lefebvre received her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. She is licensed in the State of Texas by the Supreme Court of Texas. While in law school, Mrs. Lefebvre studied in England at the University College of London, Faculties of Law where she focused her legal studies on Comparative Law and Transnational Litigation. She clerked at Bacciardi & Partners, an international corporate law firm, in Italy. Mrs. Lefebvre also clerked for the United States 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, Bankruptcy Appellate Panel in Denver, Colorado and upon graduation for the 383rd District Court in El Paso, Texas.
Litigation
Prior to venturing into immigration law, Mrs. Lefebvre participated in the defense of multi-million dollar complex commercial litigation matters. She handled a broad range of civil disputes including construction defect, ERISA, FLSA, and product liability matters.
Mrs. Lefebvre is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She served as the EOIR Oakdale Liaison (2015-2016), served as the AILA Dallas Section Co-Coordinator (2011-2012), and she is often invited to speak at AILA immigration conferences. She is also a member of the Texas Bar Association, Dallas Bar Association, and is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas.

Mrs. Lefebvre is fluent in Spanish, and conversational in Italian.
